Why free play matters
A packed schedule can leave little room for the kind of play children invent on their own. That unstructured time is where much of the real learning happens.
In free play, children set their own rules. They settle disagreements, take on roles and test ideas. These are the same skills they will need for reading, math and friendship later on.
At Gogrin, every day includes a long stretch of free play, indoors and out. Teachers watch, ask questions and step in only when needed.
You can support this at home too. Switch off screens for an hour, put out a few simple things like boxes and scarves, and let your child lead.
